Platform Architect

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert, providing mentorship and guidance to platform engineering teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement architectural strategies that align with business objectives and promote technical excellence.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, highly reliable systems, leveraging advanced cloud technologies and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing platform infrastructure for efficiency and performance.
• Identify and resolve complex system issues and performance bottlenecks proactively.
• Advocate for and implement industry-leading technologies and best practices, staying ahead of emerging trends in platform engineering.
• Represent the company at technical conferences, meetups, and industry events, showcasing our technical expertise and thought leadership.

About You:

• Extensive experience in building and deploying large-scale distributed systems, with a deep understanding of architectural principles and scalability.
• Proven expertise in cloud architecture and deployment patterns, with hands-on experience designing and implementing highly available, resilient systems on platforms like GCP or AWS.
• Strong programming skills and proficiency in multiple languages, with an emphasis on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.
• A track record of driving technical innovation, staying at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a structured approach to root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active participation in the tech community, fostering professional networks and contributing to discussions on engineering best practices.
