ArcelorMittal Tailored Blanks (AMTB) is a dynamic division within the ArcelorMittal group, supplying laser-welded steel sheet components to the automotive sector across Europe. We are seeking a motivated Plant Manager for our Zaragoza, Spain plant. The successful candidate will report to the Industrial Director and oversee all plant operations, including production, management, and safety.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Technical or higher degree, preferably in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

• Ensure plant safety, aiming for zero accidents and setting safety standards within AMTB.
• Implement corporate values, policies, and commitments across the organization.
• Lead the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) to eliminate losses and achieve world-class standards.
• Foster a motivated team working towards common objectives.
• Follow directives from ArcelorMittal on labor safety, and resource management.
• Negotiate with the Works Council to maintain positive relationships and competitiveness.
• Set annual goals and manage personnel salaries.
• Coordinate engineering and cost calculations for offers and industrialization processes.
• Oversee budget execution and monitor financial performance.
• Manage investment processes.
• Ensure operational profitability through cost analysis and budget forecasting.
• Maintain relationships with customers and develop new business opportunities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and current clients.
