A leading company in the manufacturing sector seeks a Plant Manager to oversee operations. The role includes responsibility for production efficiency, team leadership, and implementing sustainable practices. Holds end responsibility for the production and customer base of the plant.
As a plant manager, you are responsible for :
Demonstrates effective leadership: coaching all team members, ensuring equal treatment & fairness, and promoting the well-being, safety, and development of the team.
Promotes and applies guidelines and policies.
Considers the sustainability strategy of Connect Group in decision-making, using monitored sustainable development goals as a continuous guide.
Implements, monitors, and guides the sustainability strategy for the entire group, including ethical behavior and risk & opportunity management.
Ensures the welfare and safety of all plant employees.
Leads and inspires staff, including program managers, to meet internal and external customer needs, prioritizing quality, service, and cost according to the Group's values.
Ensures production meets quality standards, stays within budget, and is delivered on time.
The Plant Manager is responsible for :
Ensures compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.
Leads the local management team of the plant.
Monitors operational indicators to track progress and identify deviations, taking corrective actions as needed.
Supervises projects and actions to achieve set objectives.
Stimulates productivity and competitiveness through rigorous monitoring of expenses, purchases, stocks, and other areas.
Maintains labor relations, promotes HR plans, and encourages team development through training, coaching, and promotions, fostering a positive work environment.
Represents the company externally, promoting the plant's image and Connect Group.
Aligns all functions to meet factory cost and company growth targets through local management and product/service excellence.
The Plant Manager reports to the General Manager Europe.
