Descripción del empleo

Implements the strategic direction of the company in the operational plant.

Holds end responsibility for the production and customer base of the plant.

As a plant manager, you are responsible for:
  • Demonstrating effective leadership through coaching all team members, ensuring equal treatment and fairness, prioritizing their well-being, safety, and development.
  • Promoting and applying company guidelines and policies.
  • Considering the sustainability strategy of Connect Group in decision-making, aligning with sustainable development goals as a guiding compass.
  • Implementing, monitoring, and guiding the sustainability strategy across the group, including ethical behavior and risk management.
  • Ensuring the welfare and safety of all plant employees.
  • Leading and inspiring staff and program managers to meet internal and external customer needs, prioritizing quality, service, and cost according to group values.
  • Ensuring production meets quality standards, stays within budget, and is delivered on time.
The Plant Manager is responsible for:
  • Improving factory cost efficiency.
  • Overseeing production (BOL).
  • Managing logistics purchasing (BOM).
  • Supervising warehousing.
  • Program management.
  • Sponsoring operational excellence projects and improvements.

Ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.

Leadership responsibilities include:
  • Leading the local management team of the plant.
  • Managing key operational indicators, monitoring their evolution, detecting deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supervising projects and actions to achieve set objectives.
  • Stimulating productivity and competitiveness through rigorous monitoring of expenses, purchases, stocks, and other areas.
  • Maintaining labor relations, promoting HR plans, and encouraging team development through training, coaching, and promotions.
  • Representing the company before external bodies, promoting the plant's image and Connect Group.
  • Aligning all functions toward achieving factory cost targets and increasing company value through local management and products/services.

The Plant Manager reports to the General Manager Europe.
