Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team at our plant in Olvega, Spain.

What you can look forward to as Plant EHS Coordinator :

• Assist the site in establishing systems to achieve and maintain compliance certifications, including conducting EHS internal audits and compliance monitoring.
• Provide daily EHS support to the plant (e.g., equipment release, hazardous material management, workplace condition monitoring, organizing EHS Kaizens with employees, etc.).
• Report on EHS performance, address issues, and develop corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training, from orientation for new employees and regulatory topics to periodic refresher training for leaders, BBS coaches, and others.
• Support EHS key programs and activities.
• Ensure accurate reporting in corporate and governmental EHS systems.
• Maintain an up-to-date register of compliance obligations and define actions for new requirements.
• Facilitate process optimization and cost reduction activities, including supporting lean workshops.

Your profile as Plant EHS Coordinator :

• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Effective communication skills to convey safety protocols and inspire teams to prioritize safety and compliance.
• Attention to detail in monitoring safety practices and identifying hazards.
• Problem-solving skills to address safety issues promptly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Proficiency in Spanish is essential; knowledge of English is highly valuable.
