Eaton Mobility Group is seeking a Plant Controller in Poland to lead the plant’s financial planning and reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and local requirements. You will guide the Plant Manager and leadership on cost control, investments, and performance optimization while building a strong finance team.

The role emphasizes strengthening internal controls, capital project evaluation, and driving continuous improvement across the plant’s financial processes.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead plant’s financial planning: budgets, forecasts, profit plans, and reporting.
• Provide financial guidance to Plant Manager and leadership team.
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance; identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of financial reporting per US GAAP, SOX, and local statutes.
• Oversee budgeting, cost accounting, reconciliations, and balance-sheet reviews.
• Manage internal control environment and safeguarding of assets.
• Evaluate capital investments and post‑investment audits.
• Lead finance team and drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

We make what matters workEaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Plant Controller to join our team in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to Finance, the Plant Controller plays a key role in managing the plant’s financial performance, providing insights and analysis to support operational and business decisions. The position also ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations while driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls.What you’ll do:Lead the plant’s financial planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, profit plans, strategic plans, and performance reporting.Provide financial guidance to the Plant Manager and leadership team, supporting business decisions, cost control, and operational strategies.Monitor and analyze financial and operational results, identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to improve performance.Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of financial reporting in compliance with corporate policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory requirements.Oversee budgeting, product costing, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and financial systems to maintain strong financial controls.Manage the plant’s internal control environment, safeguarding company assets and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.Evaluate and monitor capital investments, including business case reviews, expenditure tracking, and post-investment audits.Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvement, productivity, cost-saving initiatives, and operational excellence programs.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.Minimum 9 years of progressive finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting requirements.Skills:Strong understanding of corporate, regional/divisional, and plant financial reporting policies and processes.Ability to prepare, analyze, interpret, and present complex financial and operational data.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.High level of intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making across the organization.All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
