Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Planning Manager in Zaragoza, Spain for a major greenfield Data Center project with long-term opportunity. You will lead all planning activities on site and manage a team of Senior & intermediate planners, guiding schedule risk management and reporting.

The role is senior, with progression opportunities and close collaboration with the Planning Department Management Team, client-facing duties, and ongoing development initiatives across the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Minimum 7-10 years experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).

Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager within a renowned international construction company in Zaragoza, Spain. This is a major greenfield Data Center project with long term opportunity.

As the Planning Manager you will be responsible for leading all planning activities on the site, including managing a planning team consisting of Senior & intermediate project planners. This is a senior role on a high profile project offering progression and development opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Member of the Planning Department Management Team
• Advising and supporting Divisional & SBU Management teams
• Responsible for all aspects of Planning within assigned portfolio of projects
• Assessing and reporting on schedule risk levels
• Hiring, managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading Planning staffPromoting Schedule Literacy
• Providing training for MDs, OMs, PMs, CMs & construction teams in Planning related topics
• Communicating with the Client in support of the business
• Responsible for implementing the Planning SOPs
• Ensuring that appropriate Planning & Progress systems are in place on each project
• Troubleshooting any Planning related issues
• Supporting and advising on bids and tenders including project selection process
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes
• Advising on and developing best practice for the company
• Improving and advancing Planning within the company
• Assisting with Planning Department innovation initiatives
• Covering Senior Planner responsibilities when required
• In all aspects, maintaining objectivity and factual reporting
• Assuming roles as part of the Planning Department Management Team subsidiary functions
• All other duties associated with the role

Requirements:

• Minimum 7-10 years experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
• Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
• Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
