CAP INGELEC is seeking a Project Director in Spain to lead our design and build datacenter and industrial building projects. You will report to the Operations Director and oversee technical, financial, and contractual performance on major ventures.

You will coordinate diverse teams, manage risk, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to PM practice evolution. Based on site with frequent travel across Spain.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to coordinate diverse teams.
• Experience on international projects; proficiency in Spanish and English.

• Team coordination and leadership: structuring the project team, defining roles and responsibilities.
• Operational monitoring and reporting: overseeing project progress (schedule, budget, risks) with PMO and steering committees.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project and representing the company externally.
• Contributing to the evolution of project management practices and supporting internal transformations.

As part of our growth and organizational development around major Datacenter & industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are seeking a Project Director to join our team in Spain.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading our design & build datacenter projects, with full accountability for the project’s technical, financial, and contractual performance.

More Specifically, Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

• Strategic project management: defining objectives (quality, cost, timeline, safety) and implementing management frameworks (quality plans, organization, contracts),
• Team coordination and leadership: structuring the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment,
• Operational monitoring and reporting: overseeing project progress (schedule, budget, risks) in collaboration with the PMO, and feeding into steering committees,
• Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements,
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project and representing the company to external partners,
• Contributing to the evolution of project management practices and supporting internal transformations.

Profile

With an electrical, mechanical or civil engineering degree, you have at least 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.

You are recognized for your leadership skills and your ability to manage large-scale projects by coordinating diverse specialist teams. You have solid expertise in analytical project management, risk and opportunity anticipation, and have worked on international projects where you developed proficiency in Spanish and English.

Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you are open to frequent travel across Spain.
