Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Senior Planner for a major Data Centre construction project in Zaragoza, Spain. You will develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules for pre-construction, construction, and commissioning using Primavera P6.

The role requires at least five years on large-scale projects, proficiency in Earned Value Management and Excel, and the ability to lead planning activities, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and travel to sites as needed.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' experience in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme from drawings/model/SOW.
• Capable of managing planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
• Highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting and milestone projections with delay/float analysis.
• Managing Earned Value Management systems and schedule performance.
• Liaising with client and subcontractors; attending schedule meetings.
• Providing data for payment applications and contract reviews.
• Travel to projects as required; cover Planning Manager or Project Planner duties.

Elusav are recruiting a Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for a Data Centre Construction Project in Zaragoza, Spain. This is one of the biggest Data Center projects in Spain & Europe, excellent opportunity to be involved in a highly prestigious project

The Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Primavera P6 Software. Excellent opportunity to join an industry leader with great progression potential and development pathways on offer.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.
• All other duties associated with role.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
• Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
