Olympic Broadcasting Services seeks a Planning and Budgeting & Analysis Officer to lead budgets, forecasts, and analytics within a global finance team. This role focuses on improving processes, supporting management decisions, and aligning with OBS’s AI-driven transformation agenda.

You will drive data-driven insights, collaborate across departments, and contribute to high-quality financial reporting and strategic planning in a dynamic, international setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or related.
• 4–8 years of data-heavy budgeting/analysis in multinational companies.
• Strong Power BI experience and automation tooling; AI utilization awareness.
• Clear written and spoken English; ability to explain financial information to varied audiences.
• Collaborative, proactive with strong attention to data accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Create project budgets and forecasting processes; ensure updates delivered on time.
• Consolidate and analyze data from all business lines for budget/forecasting.
• Support month-end closing and ensure accounting accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with policies.
• Prepare accurate monthly stakeholder reports.
• Analyze actual results vs plan/forecast; identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial presentations for plans/forecasts and ad-hoc needs.

• Enhance and streamline Finance workflows and processes.
• Assist with supplier/payments and vendor reconciliations; validate Games-time expenses.
• Manage freelance payment processes.

Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) was created by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 in order to serve as the Host Broadcast organisation for all Olympic Games, Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games.

About The Department/ Role:

Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) is looking for a Planning and Budgeting & Analysis Officer to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team. Specifically, the group is primarily charged preparing project budgets and periodic forecasts that provide senior management with clear, reliable information for decision-making.

The Planning and Budgeting Officer will be responsible for a combination of finance reporting forecasts and variances and application of data and process improvement as well as advising management and colleagues on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimise risk or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to take ownership of a key planning and budgeting functions while actively contributing to our broader AI-driven transformation agenda.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in the creation of the project budgets and forecasting processes ensuring updates are delivered accurately and on time.

• Coordinate, consolidate, review and analyse data from all businesses lines to support budget and forecast processes.

• Support month end closing, providing financial control and accuracy of accounting/results.

• Ensure data integrity in line with accounting principles and ensure compliance policies & procedures.

• Prepare accurate monthly reporting for relevant stakeholders.

• Conduct ongoing analysis of actual results versus plan/forecast and help to identify the risks and opportunities.

• Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for plans/forecasts and on an ad-hoc basis.

• Build collaborative relationships with business partners and provide timely, constructive support on financial matters.

• Continually enhance and streamline processes within Finance workflows.

• Assist with supplier and vendor payments and account reconciliations as well as validation of Games-time expenses.

• Management of freelance payment processes.

• Perform ad-hoc analysis as required.

Skills, Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Economics or related.

• Minimum of 4-8 years’ experience working with data-heavy budgeting or analysis processes and developing the previous functions in multinational companies, is very desirable.

• Strong experience with Power BI and other financial and automation tools is a must including a practical understanding of AI utilisation and implementation and a passion to continuously improve these.

• Clear written and spoken English, with the ability to explain financial information to different audiences.

• Ability to approach unstructured problems thoughtfully and apply financial and business analysis techniques to develop practical solutions.

• Confidence working collaboratively across departments and gathering input from varied stakeholders.

• Inclusive interpersonal skills, with the confidence to facilitate meetings, ask constructive questions and present evidence-based recommendations.

• Strong analytical judgement, attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Proactive, dependable and focused on achieving high-quality outcomes.

• Strong interest in balancing strategic transformation initiatives alongside day-to-day operational responsibilities, ensuring both innovation and execution are effectively supported
