Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, supplier management and procurement operations across the organisation. The role requires strong commercial judgement, proactive strategy, and the ability to balance cost, quality, risk and operational needs.

You will work across multiple procurement categories, coordinate RFPs/RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals and drive commercially favourable outcomes with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced

Formación

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in Procurement or related functions in an international environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience with complex RFP comparisons and technical purchasing.
  • Experience using SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer or similar procurement systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience evaluating supplier proposals and conducting commercial assessments.
  • Demonstrated supplier negotiation and vendor management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes for products and services across multiple business categories.
  • Coordinate end-to-end competitive bidding activities, including RFPs, RFQs and other sourcing activities.
  • Analyse market trends, supplier capabilities and opportunities to support sourcing decisions.
  • Participate in supplier proposals evaluation across cost, quality, service, and delivery requirements.
  • Prepare procurement recommendations and supplier comparison reports to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Support supplier negotiations and contract discussions for favorable outcomes.
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Assist with supplier reviews, audits and performance assessments.
  • Manage the Purchase to Pay process and ensure procurement compliance.
  • Support procurement reporting, KPI monitoring and spend analysis.
  • Maintain procurement records, supplier databases and sourcing documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with Finance, Legal, Technology and other departments.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify procurement solutions.
  • Provide commercial and procurement guidance throughout sourcing activities.
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to balance cost, quality, risk and operational needs.

Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) was created by the International Olympic Committee in 2001 in order to serve as the Host Broadcast organisation for all Olympic Games, Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games.

About The Role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, supplier management and procurement operations across the organisation. This role will play a key part in ensuring procurement activities are commercially sound, compliant, efficient and aligned with business requirements across both operational and Games-time environments. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgement with a proactive, strategic approach, anticipating needs, identifying risks early and driving effective procurement solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes for products and services across multiple business categories.
  • Coordinate end-to-end competitive bidding activities, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and other sourcing activities.
  • Analyse market trends, supplier capabilities and commercial opportunities to support sourcing decisions.
