Job summary

Cronoshare.Com is seeking a Route and Logistics Planner for our Goods Transport division. This fully remote role in Spain focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing transportation routes to improve efficiency, cut costs, and ensure timely deliveries using advanced routing tools.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, proactive, and capable of interpreting complex data, collaborating with dispatchers and drivers, and maintaining robust TMS records while adhering to Spanish freight

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics planning or transportation management.
• Proficiency with route planning software and TMS.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data interpretation.
• Solid understanding of logistics operations and freight principles.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize daily, weekly, and monthly transportation routes.
• Utilize routing software and GPS to create efficient delivery sequences.
• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies and cost savings.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, drivers, and customer service teams.
• Monitor real-time progress and adjust routes for unforeseen issues.
• Ensure routes comply with transportation regulations, including hours of service.
• Generate reports on route performance, mileage, fuel use, and on-time deliveries.
• Maintain route data in the transportation management system (TMS).
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans for route disruptions.
