Job Description:

DESCRIPTION

• A position is available at Airbus Defence & Space (CLAEX Support – SW Development) to provide mathematical background to a Real-Time Software Development team.
• Main department goal is to provide technical support to Spanish Air and Space Force in order to update the software in fighter’s fleet (integrating new capabilities).
• Work location is at Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop new models of physical systems to be integrated on fighter’s software
• Evaluate and validate already developed models
• Provide support and expertise when any mathematical formalism is required

SKILLS

• Education: Mathematics/Physics degree; master valuable
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience
• Languages: Advanced level in Spanish; intermediate level in English (B2)
• Soft skills: Abstraction and formalism, teamworking, customer focused
• Technical knowledge: Geodesy, error management (analysis and impact assessment of errors in models), knowledge of differential and matrix equations, programming notions to be able to fit models to target’s hardware, software development tools (MATLAB)
• Driver license and own vehicle
• Valuable: Spanish Personal Security Clearance (HPS)
