PHP FullStack Developer

Job Description

As a part of a team of developers, you will be working on the digital international Group platform with PHP technologies, taking care of maintenance issues, small new features, promotions, strategic projects, third-party integrations, etc., both for Spain and Portugal jurisdictions.

We are a motivated team looking for a fast learner, willing to come with us on an exciting new technological journey. We are looking for a collaborative team member to propose new ideas and help the team grow!

As we work fully remote in / around Barcelona, we need you to be used to working with collaboration tools. Living in Barcelona’s area or being able to travel to Barcelona as / when requested will help us continue to be a better collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Evolution and rebuilding of the group's websites.
• Creation of new sites and / or sites for new jurisdictions (countries).
• Development of interfaces for new gaming providers.
• Updating existing interfaces or protocols.
• Integration of third-party APIs.
• Development and maintenance of backend processes.
• Development and maintenance of new frontend functionalities.

Qualifications

Essential: Fluent in English and native-level Spanish.

• 3 years of experience using PHP with MVC frameworks.
• Javascript
• JQuery
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Design for mobile / responsive
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Quick technical learner who is eager to embrace exciting new technologies and grow with us.
• Team-oriented and collaborative, with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
• Creative and engaged team contributor, bringing ideas, insights, and thoughtful proposals to the table.
• Located in the Barcelona area or fully available to travel there as needed.

Desirable:

• Laravel
• Basic experience working with in-memory data stores (Redis / Memcached)
