• 3+ years of PHP experience with MVC frameworks and a strong grasp of JavaScript.

Job Description

As a part of a team of developers, he/she will be working on the digital international Group platform with PHP technologies, taking care of maintenance issues, small new features, promotions, strategic projects, third party integrations, etc. both for Spain and Portugal jurisdictions.

We are a motivated team looking for a fast learner, willing to come with us on an exciting new technological journey. We are looking for a collaborative team member to propose new ideas and help the team grow!

As we work fully remote in / around Barcelona, we need you to be used to working with collaboration tools. Living in Barcelona’s area or being able to travel to Barcelona as/when requested will help us continue to be a better collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Evolution and rebuilding of the group's websites.
• Creation of new sites and/or sites for new jurisdictions (countries).
• Development of interfaces for new gaming providers.
• Updating existing interfaces or protocols.
• Integration of third-party APIs.
• Development and maintenance of backend processes.
• Development and maintenance of new frontend functionalities.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Fluent in English and native-level Spanish.
• 3 years of experience using PHP with MVC frameworks.
• Javascript
• JQuery
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Design for mobile / responsive
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Quick technical learner who is eager to embrace exciting new technologies and grow with us.
• Team-oriented and collaborative, with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset. Someone who remains composed and solution-focused when facing challenges.
• Creative and engaged team contributor, bringing ideas, insights, and thoughtful proposals to the table. Open-minded, effective, and practical in their approach.
• Located in the Barcelona area or fully available to travel there as needed.

Desirable:

• Laravel
• Basic experience working with in-memory data stores (Redis / Memcached)
