PHP Developer (Worldwide / Freelancer or in 1 of our offices)

Siteways Iberia is a team of innovative business experts from around the world. We create and maintain online platforms and social networks, bringing quality products to a fun niche.

We are seeking PHP Developers to work remotely from anywhere in the world or in one of our offices. Freelancers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Estimate deadlines for assigned tasks
2. Write code according to specifications and on schedule
3. Develop and maintain code for automated tests
4. Fix bugs
5. Conduct code reviews
6. Participate in team meetings

Required Skills:

1. 3+ years of development experience
2. Solid experience with OOP, web services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC), XML
3. Experience with at least one framework: Zend, Symfony, Laravel, or others
4. Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing is a plus
5. Ability to identify and utilize design patterns appropriately
6. Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL)
7. Experience with caching servers (Redis, Memcached)
8. Experience with Git (or other CVS systems)
9. Experience with queuing systems (Gearman, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ)
10. Payment integration or similar experience
11. Self-management skills and ability to adhere to project specifications
