Formación

• 6+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software con tecnologías relevantes.

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mejorar características de la aplicación utilizando Python 3.12, FastAPI, PHP 8+, y Laravel 9+.
• Optimizar el rendimiento de la aplicación para escalabilidad y capacidad de respuesta.
• Implementar y gestionar aplicaciones basadas en microservicios utilizando Docker y Kubernetes.

Sanoma Learning’s NPM train is looking for a BackEnd developer to join our vibrant, international team. We’re a group of enthusiastic, friendly, and talented individuals dedicated to revolutionizing primary education. As a BackEnd developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering our platform for primary education, used by tens of thousands of teachers and students. You will contribute to innovative solutions that meet the needs of educators and learners alike.

Role responsibilities:

1. Developing and enhancing application features using Python 3.12, FastAPI, PHP 8+, and Laravel 9+ for the backend.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and Service Engineers to improve system architecture, performance, and maintainability.
3. Optimizing application performance for scalability and responsiveness.
4. Deploying, managing, and monitoring microservices-based applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
5. Utilizing AWS infrastructure effectively.
6. Ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval with MongoDB and MySQL.
7. Following best practices in CI/CD (Bamboo and Bitbucket Pipelines), DevOps, and cloud-native development.
8. Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code focused on reusability and maintainability.
9. Conducting code reviews, writing unit and integration tests, and improving overall code quality.

Must-have requirements for Backend Development:

• 6+ years of experience with these technologies.
• Proficiency in Python 3.12, FastAPI, PHP 8+, Laravel 9+, and async/reactive programming.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure.
• Experience in debugging, maintaining, and supporting large-scale production systems.
• Expertise in designing and developing microservice architectures.
• Database & Storage: MongoDB and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) for containerized application deployment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket).
• Familiarity with AWS best practices.

Additional skills:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Experience in an international environment.
