The position involves conducting advanced molecular studies on R-loops in model plants, with an emphasis on skills in RT-qPCR and 'Omics' technologies. Applicants should be motivated and willing to engage in full-time research, contributing to cutting-edge agricultural science.
Join to apply for the PhD Student (Ref 34 / 2025) role at Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics - CRAG.
About CRAG
CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. It is established as a consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and the University of Barcelona (UB). Located at the UAB Campus, CRAG hosts approximately 200 members from around the world.
Research programs at CRAG utilize genomic technologies and large genetic and genomic data sets, focusing on basic and applied research using plant experimental model systems, crops, and farm animals. The center seeks a PhD student to join the group "Molecular mechanisms of circadian clock function."
