The Group of Quantum Information and Quantum Computation at Complutense University of Madrid offers a predoctoral research position for a PhD in theory of open quantum systems, decoherence, and quantum thermodynamics . These areas connect fundamental physics with emerging quantum technologies.

This project focuses on the dynamics and thermodynamics of strongly open quantum systems—systems that interact intensely with their environment. It aims to develop efficient methods beyond standard perturbative techniques and to establish thermodynamic laws in this context.
