A leading automotive company in Catalonia is offering a PhD position focusing on the valorisation of hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. The program aims to develop sustainable processes for recovering valuable metals from battery waste using innovative methodologies. Ideal candidates should have a master's degree in relevant fields, advanced proficiency in Spanish and English, and a strong interest in sustainability and the automotive sector. This role is part of a collaborative initiative with UPC, providing a unique research opportunity.

Formación

• Graduates with a Master's degree (minimum 60 ECTS).
• A degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with a score above 6.5.
• Interest in research within the business world.
• Ability to work autonomously and proactively.

Responsabilidades

• Develop innovative processes for battery valorisation.
• Recover valuable metals from battery waste using microorganisms.
• Support a circular economy through scalable local recycling.
