Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Spain to receive, store, and ship raw materials and sensitive biological products. You will manage inventory, packaging, and dispatch while ensuring GMP compliance and precise documentation.

Work involves temperature-controlled environments and handling hazardous materials. You will coordinate with Purchasing, GTC, and Traffic, perform SAP transactions, and support safety and training initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Associate degree required with no experience.
• Forklift driving and inspection experience.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and EN46000; basic GMP?
• Ability to work in ultra-cold to hot environments and lift 20–45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, receiving, labeling, palletizing, storing of materials including hazardous materials.
• Coordinate packaging for shipments to suppliers, TPMs, and distribution centers.
• Prepare shipping documents and perform SAP transactions; track inventory.
• Destruction of obsolete or expired materials; manage waste in compliance with regs.
• Train new personnel and participate in safety and cGMP training; conduct safety inspections.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform physical counts with accounting.
• Maintain CGMP compliance and adherence to company policies and FDA/cGMP requirements.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, GTC, and Traffic on claims/returns of missing or damaged merchandise.
• Support environmental, health and safety programs and continuous improvement.
