Pharma & DS Laboratory Technician

We are currently recruiting a new Pharma Applications Lab Technician in Terrassa, Spain.

We are looking for a Pharma & Nutra Applications Lab Technician for the Pharma & Dietary Supplements laboratory located in our Terrassa offices. This is a newly created position, and its main functions and responsibilities will include, among others:

• Development and optimization of various pharmaceutical and nutraceutical formulations (solids, liquids, and semi-solids).
• Requesting and sending samples.
• Preparation of prototypes for new developments.
• Conducting physicochemical controls.
• Literature review on excipient applications and new market trends for new developments.
• Drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Inventory control of laboratory raw materials.
• Document management of laboratory-related tasks (manufacturing and analysis).
• Maintenance, cleaning, and organization of manufacturing area equipment.
• Technical support to sales teams (both in Spain and subsidiaries) regarding laboratory-related matters.

• University degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Specialization in Galenic Development is desirable.
• Interest in the pharmaceutical laboratory field.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Own vehicle for commuting to the facilities.

• Full-time position.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:45 PM, Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Flexible start and end times.
