Job Responsibilities

1. Process embryonic samples for genetic testing (PGT-A and PGT-SR).
2. Prepare and quantify libraries for next-generation sequencing (NGS).
3. Ensure quality control of samples throughout the workflow.
4. Operate and maintain sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Oxford Nanopore, Pacbio).
5. Accurately document procedures and sample tracking using LIMS.
6. Collaborate with diagnostics personnel to ensure result integrity.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory protocols and workflows.
8. Comply with quality and biosafety standards (e.g., ISO, CAP, CLIA, CE-IVD).

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Technician in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory, Technician in Pathological Anatomy, or a related discipline.
• Experience: More than 3 years in similar roles and responsibilities.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with micropipetting, PCR, electrophoresis, fluorometric quantification.
• Experience with lab equipment such as thermocyclers, Qubit, Bioanalyzer or TapeStation, NGS sequencers.
• Comfortable working with digital lab tools (LIMS, Excel, genetic databases).
• Additional Skills:
• Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in genetics.
