Formación

We are currently looking for a Permanent Investment Accountant to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain.

This is a hybrid working role, and will require you to be in the office for 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Permanent investment and operating lease accounting
• To perform reconciliations and review reconciliations.
• To execute and engage on all internal control activities & SOX controls defined within the function.
• To drive and facilitate interactions with internal / external customers and third parties (corporate / local & regional finance / plant accountants).
• Preparation and delivery of financial reports.
• To participate in internal & external financial audits.
• To provide functional training and support to peers.
• To perform system set up and maintenance of specific systems as required in the functional area.
• To prepare and deliver financial reports to our internal & external customers.
• To perform detailed review, analysis and interpretation of defined processes in the assigned area of work, ensuring accuracy of data and adequate processing and reporting.
• Consultancies: cost vs. capital questions and any other (accounting) queries.
• Active involvement in projects such as system implementation, S4 Hana, acquisitions, merges…

Key requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
• Fluency in English is a must; other European languages are considered a plus.
• Demonstrate experience in finance / accounting areas, minimum of 2-3 years finance / accounting experience.
• High Computer literate: High PC skills (Outlook / Office), previous experience with SAP will be considered a plus.
• US GAAP experience / knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Financial Statements. Knowledge in Permanent Investment accounting will be highly valued.
