Job Description

lastminute.com group is looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Performance Marketing Lead (SEM) to join the team.

The Performance Marketing Lead (SEM) will work closely with the Head of SEM. She / he will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing different business strategies across brands and products with a strong focus on the SEM channel. She / he will work in line with marketing and business objectives using Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other Performance Marketing products and tools.

The Performance Marketing Lead (SEM) will oversee the day-to-day SEM processes and performance metrics for various markets and account managers. She / he will liaise with different teams within the company and take full ownership of strategy and coordination for a key product, leading various SEM projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of customer acquisition strategy across different products for the SEM channel.
  • Daily monitoring of sales, profitability, and target tracking.
  • Delivering performance reports and insights to the team and stakeholders, promoting new ideas and methods.
  • Leading interaction with product owners and coordinating internally to develop effective SEM strategies.
  • Identifying growth opportunities, testing hypotheses, and scaling successful tests to increase traffic.
  • Monitoring competitive metrics (market share, competition).
  • Building, leading, and deploying an effective app and mobile strategy.
  • Developing solutions and automation processes for operational efficiency.
  • Delivering annual forecasts and target estimations.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Proven performance marketing experience, +5 years, with a focus on SEM preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis from multiple sources.
  • Strong data-oriented, analytical, and numeracy skills.
  • Dynamic, data-driven approach with the ability to leverage data for marketing decisions.
  • Experience managing large budgets for paid search campaigns.
  • Good understanding of automated bidding (Google Ads, SearchAds360, etc.).
  • Willingness to collaborate across departments to enhance campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL, BigQuery.
  • Understanding of A / B testing tools.
  • Experience with DSP and DMP / CDP solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of App Campaigns channel is a plus.
  • Secondary language skills in German, French, or Italian are a plus.
