This position is primarily based in Madrid but candidates from locations like Barcelona and Valencia will also be considered.

Position: Maritime and Transport Technical Profile

Sedgwick is seeking a technical profile for the Maritime and Transport sector. After a training period, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

1. Insurance claim assessments for cargo damages within their region.
2. Document analysis of claims and coordination of incidents at national and international levels.
3. Preparation of expert reports, individually or in collaboration with other experts.
4. Damage assessment.
5. Interacting and negotiating with involved parties.

Requirements:

• Preferably a technical background (technical engineering, food technology, or similar) or relevant work experience.
• Valuable to have a certification as a Claims Adjuster and/or knowledge of the transport sector.
• Knowledge of insurance techniques and claims assessment, preferably in transport areas.
• Over 2 years of experience in claims assessment and report writing or relevant experience.
• Interest in developing a career in claims assessment, specializing in transport.
• High level of English, minimum B2.
• Proficiency with IT tools.
• Organized and analytical profile.
• Own vehicle for occasional travel.
• Position based in Madrid, with consideration for candidates in Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, etc.
