Sedgwick is seeking a technical profile for the Maritime and Transport Area. After training, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assessing cargo claims in their residence area.
  • Document analysis of claims and coordinating claims nationally and internationally.
  • Drafting expert reports, individually or with other experts.
  • Damage assessment.
  • Interacting and negotiating with involved parties.

Requirements:

  • Preferably a technical profile (engineering, food technology, or similar) or relevant work experience.
  • Valuable to have a Damage Surveyor certification and/or knowledge of the transport sector.
  • Knowledge of insurance techniques and claims assessment, preferably in transport areas.
  • Over 2 years of experience in claims assessment and report writing or relevant experience.
  • Interest in developing a career in claims assessment, specializing in transport.
  • High level of English, minimum B2.
  • Proficiency with IT tools.
  • Organized and analytical profile.
  • Own vehicle for occasional travel.
  • Position based in Madrid, with consideration for candidates in Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, etc.
