Aurora Live in Barcelona is seeking a senior People leader to scale our People organization as we grow across Europe. You will partner with the CEO to shape hiring, leadership development, performance, and compensation across HRBP, Talent Acquisition, payroll and HR operations.

The role requires a business-minded HR generalist with a track record of building scalable people processes in international environments and a passion for driving organizational impact as we scale.

Aurora Live is growing fast across Europe, and I’m looking for a senior People leader to join our team in Barcelona. Our team of over 300 professionals across Europe - of which 90 are in Barcelona - is proud to build our next growth steps, and we want to ensure them the right level of support and enablement.

This role is designed for a business-minded HR generalist and strong people leader who understands what it takes to build a high-performance organization while the company is growing and changing at speed.

You will lead our People organization across HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, payroll & HR operations and our office team. Your job is to make sure these teams can create measurable impact on the business.

You will be one of closest partners as CEO on the people side of the company: how we hire, how we develop our leaders, how we lead and reward performance, and keep all the people related wheels turning as we grow.

What we need you to own

• Lead and develop our People team across HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, payroll/HR operations and office operations

• Build strong HR business partnering for our commercial leaders across Europe

• Own performance management; expectations, feedback, development.

• Strong leadership through coaching, training and practical management tools

• Build scalable learning and development for a fast-growing commercial organization

• Drive organizational planning and hiring together with business leadership

• Ensure solid employment practices, payroll, policies and HR fundamentals

• Raise the standard of our support functions: clear ownership, measurable impact, speed and strong internal customer thinking

• Rethink and build processes and be in the forefront of making us AI-native in People Operations; automate manual work, and rethink how HR work should be done in 2027.

• Experience in growth organization compensation and rewarding structures is considered a plus.

Who I’m looking for

• You have already led an HR / People team in a growth company, ideally in an international and commercially driven environment.

• You understand sales organizations, performance cultures and the realities of scaling. You are equally comfortable coaching a senior leader, challenging a performance situation, improving recruitment engine and questioning why we are doing something manually that technology could handle.

• You are proactive towards the CEO and business leadership. You don’t wait for HR topics to arrive at your desk — you see what is coming, bring the topics forward and act early.

• You combine high standards with genuine care for people. You can challenge directly, make decisions and get things moving.

• Fluent verban and written English language skills.

Your mission: be a builder for the People engine that helps Aurora Live hire, develop, lead and perform at a higher level as we continue to scale.
