Airwallex in Barcelona is seeking a People Operations & Workplace Experience specialist to support the EMEA team. You will ensure core HR operations run smoothly and help cultivate an engaging in-office culture during rapid growth.

The role covers onboarding, offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits, and HRIS administration, as well as day-to-day office operations and events. This is a hybrid Barcelona-based position with a strong emphasis on process improvement and cross-team collaboration.

Formación

• Minimum Generalist experience in People Operations / HR in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Passion for culture and team building; you champion a growing organization's culture.
• Strong knowledge of local HR practices, benefits, and compliance.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented operator who can own admin-heavy workflows.
• Experience supporting payroll processes, including commissions/bonuses.
• Ability to define and improve processes from scratch.

Responsabilidades

• Own onboarding and offboarding end-to-end with a seamless employee experience.
• Serve as primary point of contact for HR inquiries; manage ticketing with timely responses.
• Maintain HRIS and payroll data; run audits and manage data changes.
• Support payroll processes, including commissions and bonuses.
• Administer benefits programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee day-to-day office operations and facilities.
• Greet visitors and coordinate with building management.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Help build and scale a strong in-office culture.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive process documentation and automation using AI.
• Gather employee feedback and translate it into action.
