IO Interactive is seeking a talented individual to join our team in a role that will support IOI employees across all studios and projects.

Currently, we are working on two exciting game projects: Project 007, a brand-new James Bond video game featuring an entirely original Bond story, and Project Fantasy, an ambitious new IP for console and PC that will revolutionize the online fantasy RPG genre.

We are excited to expand our team of People Managers at IOI, recognizing the diverse developmental goals of our employees. The role of a People Manager is to help our team members realize their unique goals. Currently, we already have People Managers specializing in Design, Art, and Tech profiles. We are actively in search of a People Manager to provide support to our team of producers.

As a People Manager at IOI, your responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying, planning, and executing employees' career paths from recruitment through professional and personal development.
  2. Playing a key role in building an organization that enables IOI to achieve its ambitious growth plans and sets an industry example for caring for its people.
  3. Ensuring the proper implementation of employee processes defined by HR, including feedback, salary and appraisal talks, career development, action planning, and cross-functional development. Collaborating with HR on new ideas and process improvements.
  4. Staying in close contact with employees to identify their potential for development, strengths, and challenges, facilitating their growth.
  5. Participating in recruitment to define needed profiles for different projects.
  6. Conducting interviews to assess skill and cultural fit for individual technical teams.
  7. Contributing to onboarding new employees.
  8. Helping manage producers' career paths by defining individual action plans for project transitions, promotions, skill training, and salary regulations.
  9. Overseeing the producer's salary budget, evaluating and calibrating different senior levels and job roles.
  10. Handling staffing duties, including addressing understaffing, resolving disputes, issuing warnings and layoffs, and managing disciplinary procedures.

Who you are:

  • Proven experience as a Personnel Manager in a game or media studio.
  • Demonstrated people management skills focused on development and growth.
  • Experience with HR processes related to employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication skills, an open and approachable nature.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, acknowledging developers' passion for their products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Mandatory passion for video games.
  • Ideally, training in mediation and conflict resolution.
