Formación

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated in relevant fields.

SHG operates over 81 venues and has a presence in 26 countries with a commitment to deliver authentic & diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together, all around the world.

We are looking for a People & Culture Trainee to be based in our Head Office in Barcelona who will work closely with the corporate People & Culture team for Europe, North Africa & Turkey supporting in different tasks such as recruitment, onboarding and administration, among others. Besides this, there will be room to develop yourself in exciting side projects.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews; oversee preparation and ensure alignment in interview questions and other hiring & selection materials.
  • Conduct interviews for a wide range of goals and keep the main stakeholders up to date about the progress.
  • Collaborate with onboarding plans and induction presentations.
  • Prepare and join some campus recruitment and career fairs.
  • Assist with administration and projects for the VP People & Culture.
  • Support with reports, recruitment trackers and administrative tasks.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the last course (or just graduated) in Labour Relations and Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology or similar.
  • Possibility to establish an internship agreement with your University.
  • Preferably available to start in April / May 2025.
  • Availability: 40h/week from Monday to Friday during a minimum of 6 months internship.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written). Spanish is a big plus.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at a time and adapt easily in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
