Inspired Education Group is seeking a passionate PE Teacher for King's College School Alicante, joining on a permanent, full-time basis from January 2027. The role will teach Physical Education across the school up to A Level and contribute to the school's sporting life.

You'll deliver engaging lessons, develop students' physical literacy and academic skills, and support GCSE/A Level preparation while inspiring students of diverse ages and abilities in a British/international school environment.

Formación

• Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or related subject.
• Teaching qualification for secondary education.
• Experience teaching PE, preferably in British or international schools.
• Experience teaching GCSE and/or A Level desirable.
• Strong knowledge and passion for sport and physical education.
• Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication.
• Ability to motivate students across ages and abilities.
• Commitment to high academic and sporting standards.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School Alicante is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis from January 2027.

The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across the school, up to A Level, and will play an important role in developing students' physical, sporting and academic skills.

We are looking for a passionate PE specialist who can inspire students of different ages and abilities, deliver engaging practical lessons and contribute positively to the wider sporting life of the school.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach Physical Education across the school, up to A Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured PE lessons.
• Develop students' physical literacy, technical skills, tactical understanding and knowledge of sport and exercise.
• Prepare and support students studying PE at A Level, ensuring they are well equipped for their examinations and future studies.
• Assess and monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
• Contribute to the school's wider programme of sports, fixtures, competitions and extracurricular activities.
• Support and encourage students to participate in sport and develop healthy, active lifestyles.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, teamwork, sportsmanship and personal development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification appropriate for secondary education.
• Previous experience teaching Physical Education, ideally within a British or international school.
• Experience teaching PE at GCSE and/or A Level would be highly desirable.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for sport and physical education.
• Ability to deliver engaging and inclusive practical and theoretical lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students across a range of ages and abilities.
• Commitment to high academic and sporting standards.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
