King's College School La Moraleja is looking to appoint a Temporary EYFS Teacher to join our Early Years team from January 2027.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
Create a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning through play.
Support children's social, emotional, physical and academic development.
Observe, assess and document children's progress and use this information to inform future planning.
Differentiate learning activities according to individual needs, interests and stages of development.
Build positive and effective relationships with children, colleagues and families.
Work collaboratively with the Early Years team to ensure consistency and high standards across the provision.
Maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised learning environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support school events and activities where appropriate.
A recognised teaching qualification and relevant experience working within Early Years / EYFS.
Experience teaching young children in an international or British-curriculum setting would be advantageous.
A strong understanding of the principles and practice of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
A warm, nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
