King’s College School Alicante invites an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis from January 2027. You will teach Physical Education across the school up to A Level and help develop students’ physical, sporting and academic skills.

We are seeking a passionate PE specialist who can deliver engaging practical lessons, inspire diverse learners, and contribute to the wider sporting life of a British/international school. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification appropriate for secondary education.
• Previous experience teaching Physical Education, ideally within a British or international school.
• Experience teaching PE at GCSE and/or A Level would be highly desirable.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for sport and physical education.
• Commitment to high academic and sporting standards.

Responsabilités

• Teach Physical Education across the school, up to A Level.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured PE lessons.
• Develop students’ physical literacy, technical skills, tactical understanding and knowledge of sport and exercise.
• Prepare and support students studying PE at A Level, ensuring they are well equipped for their examinations and future studies.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs and abilities of individual students.
• Contribute to the school’s wider programme of sports, fixtures, competitions and extracurricular activities.
• Support and encourage students to participate in sport and develop healthy, active lifestyles.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, teamwork, sportsmanship and personal development.
