This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Vendor Relationship Manager, joining our Global Payroll team . As a dynamic and energetic professional, the Payroll Vendor Relationship Manager will own the collaboration with external Payroll partners. You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll Vendor Operations .

What you bring

  • Work experience in regional / global payroll vendor operations.
  • Work experience in implementing payroll software in multiple countries.
  • Work experience in managing third-party payroll vendor relationships.
  • Deep understanding of global payroll best practices.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • Understanding of the need and ability to work largely independently.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to create and manage internal training resources, including quick start guides.
  • Maintain frequent communication with Payroll team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Scoping & Research : Conduct market research for payroll vendors, develop criteria, and present recommendations.
  • New Country Expansion : Manage onboarding, vendor selection, contract negotiations, system migration, and testing.
  • Payroll Vendor Relations & Performance Evaluation : Ensure vendor satisfaction, meet SLAs, and optimize communication.
  • Cost Tracking & Analysis : Review invoices, track costs, and provide reports to leadership.
  • Communication & Collaboration : Work with internal teams for deployment and training of payroll solutions.

  • Reporting to : Senior Manager, Global Payroll Vendor Operations
  • Start date : As soon as possible

Remote Compensation Philosophy

Remote ensures fair, unbiased compensation and competitive benefits worldwide, paying above local rates to support global talent-hiring and local wealth creation. The salary range for this position is $30,250 to $68,050 USD, depending on various factors such as location, skills, and experience.
