DuPont is seeking a Payroll Accountant to oversee payroll-related entries for all Legal Entities within their scope. This role involves accuracy in payroll processing, supporting internal controls in compliance with SOX 404, and being the primary contact for payroll relevant inquiries. Ideal candidates will possess a university degree in Accounting or Finance and have a background in accounting, alongside being adaptable and solution-oriented.

Formación

• 3-4 years of accounting experience required.
• Business proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
• Payroll accounting experience is an advantage.

The Payroll Accountant is responsible for preparing and delivering payroll-related entries for all Legal Entities within their scope of responsibility, in compliance with local and corporate policies. This role supports business and accounting teams in all accounting matters, being the main point of contact for payroll related activities.

Main responsibilities :

• Ensure payroll (including accruals) is accurate for the entities under their responsibility
• Primary contact for external and internal audit matters
• Ongoing monitoring of account reconciliations in compliance with the DuPont Global Account Reconciliation Policy
• Analysis of balance sheet and income statements impact for Legal Entities within the scope of responsibility (where required)
• Support maintenance of effective internal controls in line with SOX 404 as well as the DuPont Internal Control Standards manual

Qualifications :

• University degree in Accounting / Finance
• 3-4 years of accounting experience required
• Business proficiency in English required. Knowledge of German, French or additional European language is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset
• Payroll accounting experience is an advantage
