Job summary

Omya is seeking a finance professional in Barcelona to join the payments team. The role focuses on weekly supplier payment runs, processing additional payment requests, and ensuring accurate SAP/Autobank processing.

You will support accounting closings, QA to prevent double payments, and respond to supplier inquiries. Hybrid work model and professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance is a plus.
Less than 2 years’ experience in accounting within a payment team or invoice posting.
Experience with ERP is a plus.
Experience with cash flow tools or business spend management tools is a plus.
Fluent in English (B2).

Responsibilities

Ensure and complete weekly country-scheduled payment runs to suppliers.
Execute additional payment requests within the SLA.
Clear outgoing payments in SAP / Autobank.
Drive to minimize manual/urgent payments from weekly runs.
Quality assurance to minimize double payments.
Resolve issues detected in quality controls.
Support to resolve supplier or internal payment queries.
Support operational activities with an end-to-end view.
Provide support in accounting closings.

Education

Finance degree
