Kenes Group is seeking a highly motivated Partnerships & Grants Associate with experience in raising funds from companies (pharmaceuticals and medical devices) and foundations for conferences and online education. Industry funds support the development of online learning portals and educational activities in health and sciences. The associate will join Kenes Group’s Digital Education team, reporting directly to the Head of Industry Partnerships.

The goal of this role is to foster existing relationships and create new partnerships to raise funds through grants and sponsorships, enabling the continuation of free education worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Work with your manager and education team to develop and lead sales strategies for clients, partners, and the Digital Department.
• Provide strategic advice and support on partnerships, grants, and fundraising.
• Manage relationships with current partners, increase funding levels, and develop new partnerships to secure funding.
• Maintain relationships with thought leaders and supporters, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the ILS team (fundraising for congresses) and the Education team (creating online education).
• Meet fundraising targets for various educational programs.
• Research and document grant opportunities (using Salesforce).
• Prepare background information for activities in cooperation with relevant departments and build relationships with granting institutions.
• Supervise or draft correspondence, agreements, reports, LOAs, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Lead program reporting back to industry partners on educational activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a medical or bioscientific field.
• 5+ years of experience in grants and/or fundraising.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Experience raising sponsorship and grant funds from the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and foundations (advantageous).
• Experience in professional medical writing (advantageous).
• Experience with adult learning (advantageous).
