Your Role

As the Partnership Director, you will be responsible for developing new relationships and expanding existing partnerships at CEA CAPA. The Partnership Director will be a target-driven strategic thinker who collaborates with institutional partners and CEA CAPA teams to strengthen relationships and increase study abroad enrollment through strategic planning and identifying new growth opportunities in partnership with Institutional Relations leadership.

What You'll Do

The following duties are not all-inclusive; other responsibilities may be assigned.

• Assess new business opportunities, develop account plans, and own growth strategies at new partner institutions.
• Achieve sales targets by cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships and exploring new opportunities with existing partners.
• Develop expertise in CEA CAPA’s program offerings, including standard, internship, direct enroll, and custom programs.
• Enhance organizational brand presence by participating in industry conferences and committees, positioning CEA CAPA as a thought leader in Education Abroad.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors to explore and evaluate new institutional opportunities within assigned territories.
• Leverage marketing tools strategically to increase brand awareness and drive student and partner demand.
• Work with domestic and international staff to stay informed about policy developments, new programs, procedures, and industry trends.
• Bring innovative ideas to help achieve organizational goals.

Role requires 40% travel to develop and nurture new partnerships and revenue streams.

Starting Salary

$70,000 - $80,000 + incentive plan

What Makes a Great Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience in higher education or study abroad.
• At least 3 years in consultative business development and relationship building.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, access, and inclusion efforts.
• CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.
• Prior international travel, study, work, or volunteer experience preferred.
• Experience planning and executing domestic and international travel itineraries.
• Self-starter with confidence working remotely and collaborating across teams to meet goals.
