Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via >2k interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe but also build new solutions such as REST services, Angular frontends, Big Data, and GCP solutions.
In addition to maintaining and implementing new CTB requirements, the focus is on regulatory and tax topics surrounding partners and clients. We are looking for a Lead Engineer - Partnerdata to assist with day-to-day activities.
Your key responsibilities
- Work in a global environment with distributed delivery teams, proposing technical designs and architectures to meet business needs.
- Be accountable for your team's effectiveness by coaching in modern engineering practices, ensuring the ability to build, test, and release software efficiently.
- Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.
- Collaborate with other teams to build and integrate systems.
- Support and enforce automated unit and integration testing as standard practices.
- Ensure the software built is reliable and maintainable in production.
- Promote a DevOps/SRE culture and modern toolchains to support continuous delivery.
- Assist in defining and implementing standards and KPIs for end-to-end software delivery.
Your skills and experience
- Several years of professional experience in an engineering role, with expertise in team leadership and mentoring developers.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with strong independence and initiative, capable of working in agile teams.
- A passion for learning and applying new technologies in a constantly evolving web environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective in collaborative team environments.
- Deep knowledge of web frontend engineering, especially Angular or similar technologies, cloud architecture, and related technologies.
- Expertise in architecture standards and the full software development lifecycle.
