Job Description:

Description: Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via over 2,000 interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe but also build new solutions such as REST services, Angular frontend, Big Data, and GCP solutions. We focus on maintaining and implementing new CTB requirements, with an emphasis on regulatory and tax topics surrounding partners/clients. We are seeking a Lead Engineer for PD to assist with daily activities.

Your key responsibilities

1. Work in a global environment with distributed delivery teams, proposing technical design and architecture to meet business functionalities.
2. Be accountable for your team’s effectiveness by coaching in modern engineering practices to ensure rapid and efficient software delivery.
3. Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.
4. Collaborate with other teams to build and integrate systems.
5. Support and enforce automated unit and integration testing as standard practice.
6. Ensure the reliability and maintainability of software in production.
7. Promote a DevOps/SRE culture and modern toolchains for continuous delivery.
8. Help define and implement standards and KPIs for end-to-end software delivery.

Your skills and experience

1. Several years of professional experience as an engineer, with leadership qualities.
2. Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence, initiative, and ability to work in agile teams.
3. A passion for learning and applying new technologies in web environments.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective team collaboration.
5. Expertise in web frontend engineering with Angular or similar technologies, cloud architecture, and general technology knowledge.
6. Experience leading teams and mentoring developers.
7. Deep knowledge of architecture standards and the full software development lifecycle.
