Descripción del empleo

Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via > 2k interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe, but build new solutions (REST services, Angular frontend, Big Data and GCP solutions and more). Next to the maintenance and the implementation of new CTB requirements, the focus is also on regulatory and tax topics surrounding a partner / client. We are looking for an API Engineer to assist with day-to-day activities.

Your key responsibilities
  1. Implement project requirements and maintain APIs on-premises and in GCP (Java 17, SpringBoot, REST, OpenShift, CloudRun) throughout the SDLC.
  2. Support the migration of current functionalities to Google Cloud.
  3. Ensure the stability of the application landscape and support software releases.
  4. Assist with L3 support topics and application governance.
  5. Code, test, and maintain applications as part of an agile team.
Your skills and experience
  1. Experience in API development in high-performance environments.
  2. Strong understanding of Java application development patterns, especially SpringBoot web services.
  3. Understanding of party data and integration with product data.
  4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket, TeamCity, JFrog Artifactory.
  5. Familiarity with GCP tools like Github, Github Actions; Terraform is a plus.
  6. Knowledge of logging and monitoring solutions such as Splunk, Scribe, or NewRelic.
  7. Knowledge of customer reference data, customer onboarding processes, and regulatory topics like KYC.
  8. Ability to work well independently and in teams, with a constructive and target-oriented approach.
  9. Good English communication skills, both professional and informal.
