A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a Partner Insights & Strategy professional to lead insights activities in Madrid. This role focuses on delivering market insights and strategic planning for assigned products, enhancing the competitive positioning of Astellas’ offerings. The position allows for a hybrid working model, combining in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Formación

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
  • Ability to synthesize marketing insights to inform decisions.
  • Experience with strategic planning and market understanding.

The Opportunity

As a Spain, Insights & Strategy Partner, you lead Affiliate Insights activities for assigned product (s) and market (s) and provide forward looking insights to advance understanding of the relevant markets, competitors, and customers with the aim of delivering major competitive advantage for Astellas’ products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for delivery and execution of insights plans that are aligned with global counterparts and address Affiliate specific strategic objectives, tactical requirements, and decision-making needs. Includes annual business planning activities and additional strategic exercises.
  • Develop deep understanding of the market landscape which includes market potential, market trends, unmet medical and patient needs, market access challenges and competitors’ trend for each of the assigned products.
  • Serve as the primary strategic partner and point of accountability to Affiliate leadership, providing thought leadership and insight to drive business decisions and outcomes.
  • Synthesize marketing intelligence learnings to provide thought leadership and insight to inform business decisions and outcomes.
  • Proficiency / advanced in English and Spanish languages.
  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical industry.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

Education / Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA / MS / PhD) or equivalent.
  • Undergraduate or advanced degree in Economics / Business Administration, Math or Science or equivalent.

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent, full-time position.
  • This position is based in Madrid, Spain.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 days per week in our Madrid office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office
  • There may be a required 15-20 % domestic / international travel.
