What we offer

We invite applications for a part-time teaching position at the Bioengineering Bachelor’s Degree program at UIC, starting September 2025. Remuneration will depend on the candidate’s profile.

What we are looking for

We seek a part-time lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience with a degree (preferably PhD) in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields, with teaching experience and proficiency in English. Candidates should be able to teach at least one of the following courses:

• The Basics and Electronic Systems: Fundamentals of electricity, circuit theory, semiconductors, transistors, operational amplifiers, filters.
• Signals and Systems Theory: Analog/digital signals, sampling, Fourier Transform, spectrograms.
• Neuroscience Applied to Orthoprosthesis: Molecular and cellular neuroscience.
• Computing, Robotics and Bionics 1 & 2: Computation, machine learning, neuroprosthetics, sensors, communication protocols, Arduino interfacing, EMG.
• Treatment Methods in Orthoprosthetics: Orthosis, prostheses, neuroprosthetic control, electrostimulation.
