Job summary

Cognita is seeking a reliable Cook to join the Mirasur School catering team in Pinto, Madrid. This part-time, fixed-term role supports a high-quality dining service for students and staff.

You will assist with food preparation, cooking and serving nutritious meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow hygiene regulations and help with stock management and deliveries. A catering qualification is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
• Excellent attention to detail in a busy kitchen environment.
• A relevant qualification or training in catering or hospitality is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, cooking and serving of nutritious meals for students and staff.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas, following hygiene regulations.
• Support stock management, receive deliveries and keep the kitchen organized and efficient.
• Contribute to providing a safe, welcoming and healthy dining experience for the school community.
