Job summary

IQVIA MedTech is seeking a Field Service Engineer/Technician in Spain. You will install and configure hardware, software and medical devices at healthcare facilities, with 100% local, regional and national travel. Per-diem, with 16-30 hours weekly plus travel time.

Training is paid. Requires at least 1 year in electronics/hardware/software/mechanical work, English and Spanish/Portuguese, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachillarrito Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year related electronics, hardware, software or mechanical experience required.
• English and Spanish/Portuguese is required.
• Must be comfortable with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to work with design engineers, project managers & healthcare personnel to identify equipment layout, operations, and workflow required.
• Must have up-to-date immunizations and hospital credentialing may be required.
• Active driver's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle for assignments.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, testing, and assembling automated medication dispensing systems; install and configure hardware, software and medical devices.
• Review schematics / drawings, documentation, and logistics to support installation activities.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with quality compliance requirements.
• Partner with a team of support staff, manage project timelines and customer needs.
• Training for this role will be provided and is paid
