Would you like to combine your expertise of paid search with your passion for denim? Then you might be our new Paid Search Specialist!

As G-Star’s new Paid Search & App Specialist, you become part of the Paid Search Team, which is part of the bigger Global Digital Marketing Team. This team consists of an enthusiastic and experienced group of digital specialists (for example: PPC, Paid Social, Display, SEO, and Affiliate). In the Digital Marketing Team, we have big ambitions and lots of motivation to have maximum impact on the growth of G-Star Raw. And we have lots of fun as well!

The Digital Marketing Team is responsible for creating the global digital marketing strategy for G-Star RAW and ensuring a flawless execution. We do this in close collaboration with the different regional marketing teams, the E-commerce team, our in-house creative team, and our data teams.

As Paid Search Specialist, you work on the creation and execution of the global paid search strategy, to ensure we get the optimal results out of our paid search channel. By doing so, you have a significant impact on the growth of G-Star!

This role is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career and who likes working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
  1. Effectively manage, optimize, and innovate our current and future campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Search, Shopping/pMAX, Display, App Install, and Engagement campaign types), maintaining a healthy ROAS.
  2. Provide detailed performance reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for future strategies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SEO, marketing, display, paid social) internally to develop and implement paid search strategies that align well with the overall business goals and vision.
  4. Continuously (A/B) test new features, formats, or strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and share knowledge internally.
  5. Contribute to team success by enhancing processes and best practices.
Here's what you bring to the table:
  1. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in paid search, preferably within Retail.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Ads, Google Ads, Google Ads Editor (as well as Microsoft Ads), Google Merchant Center, Channable, and spreadsheet/Excel.
  3. Possess strong analytical abilities, enabling data-driven decision-making & A/B testing.
  4. Hands-on attitude with a proactive approach to taking initiative.
  5. Experience with (advanced) bid management and bidding strategies.
  6. Track record in optimizing campaigns based on ROAS/POAS.
  7. Knowledge on App Marketing measurement and App Install and Engagement campaigns (mainly Google).
  8. Ideally, you are familiar with Lifetime Value (LTV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) metrics.
  9. Knowledge of Appsflyer, Tableau, and GA4 is a big plus.
  10. Experience with large budgets is a plus.
  11. Experience with DV360 is a plus.
  12. Fluency in English is required!
