Job summary

NSI is seeking a hands-on Packaging Manager for our Barcelona office to own packaging development from concept through commercialization and ongoing supply. You will collaborate across Product Development, Quality, Procurement, and Operations, and manage supplier relationships to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability.

The role requires 5+ years in packaging, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of packaging development/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of flexible film packaging, especially stand-up pouches.
• Experience with corrugated packaging and boxed systems.
• Comfortable with cost analyses, projections and packaging data.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end packaging development process from concept to commercialization.
• Develop and maintain packaging specs, samples, testing and documentation.
• Support packaging across flexible, corrugate/boxes and rigid packaging mix and ensure compatibility with equipment.
• Lead supplier relationships, sourcing, pricing and backup supplier development.
• Identify and resolve packaging issues before launches or supply disruption.
