NextPower in Madrid seeks a Senior Manager, Global Packaging Engineering to define and execute packaging strategy across the global product portfolio, from design through industrialization.

You will lead a global team, establish standards, drive sustainability and cost optimization, and partner with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and suppliers to accelerate New Product Introduction and global rollout.

Formación

• 15+ years of experience in industrial Packaging Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial packaging materials, design and validation.
• Proven experience developing and implementing returnable packaging programs.
• Demonstrated people-management experience across locations and time zones.
• Experience in global manufacturing, automotive, energy or similar environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and own the Global Packaging Engineering strategy with focus on standardization, quality, sustainability and cost optimization.
• Lead and grow the global Packaging Engineering team across regions.
• Represent Packaging Engineering in NPI and new product development from design to launch.
• Lead returnable packaging programs with technical solutions and supplier implementation.
• Establish and maintain global packaging standards, specs and validation requirements.
• Drive packaging solutions across the NextPower portfolio and new technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and validate packaging while pursuing improvements.
