Job summary

Beiersdorf Group is seeking a Line & Process Engineer to support and optimize packaging operations across multiple production lines in a fast-paced environment. The role involves developing documentation, delivering operator training, and coordinating process changes.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing, with strong analytical skills and hands-on execution ability. Experience with 5S/SMED and automation is valued as part of our commitment to operational

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance analysis and execution.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of 5S, SMED, Fishbone Analysis, Root Cause Analysis or similar methodologies is highly valued.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is an advantage.
• Electromechanical knowledge or experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize manufacturing and packaging processes across several production lines.
• Develop, update and maintain technical documentation, operating standards and work instructions.
• Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to production operators.
• Coordinate and communicate process and equipment changes within the production area.
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance teams to identify and implement technical improvements.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence projects.
• Support line trials, validations and format change activities.
• Analyze process deviations, equipment losses and operational issues to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Promote and support 5S, safety and quality standards.
• Participate in projects involving automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
